Description
CADE (Rectified) Juniperus oxycedrus ~ Cade is used for its properties to expel worms, parasites, relief itching, disinfect and as a pain reliever. Ancient cultures used Cade as an incense to ward off evil spirits and to avoid or heal illness. Medieval Europe used it to protect and aid the health of farm animals. Cade is a evergreen shrub which grows up to 12 feet and higher and has long dark needles and brownish-black berries. Rectification is a process used to remove minor components not desired in an essential oil.
