ISRAEL’S SWEET JOPPA ORANGE (Citrus sinensis):  Bottled Sun SHINE!  This Sweet Orange grown in Joppa, Israel (known today as Jaffa, Israel) has an AMAZING INTOXICATING and DELIGHTFUL BURST of ORANGE aroma!  

Joppa is filled with history as well as aroma!  The Harbor of Jaffa is one of the oldest functioning harbors still in operation today, just 30 miles south of Caesarea on the Mediteranean Sea just outside of Tel Aviv.  Joppa is where the small fishing boats were when Jonah went to flee from Elohim to Tarshish (Jonah 1:3).

   But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

Cedars would float from Phoenicia to Joppa and then transported to Jerusalem during the days of the construction of Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 2:16).  Cedars came from Lebanon to Joppa during the time of King Cyrus (Ezra 3:9).

And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.

Tabitha (aka Dorcas), full of God’s works, lived in Joppa. She became sick and died.  Thus, Peter was called to pray for her, at which point she rose from the dead and many who lived in Joppa came to believe in the Lord (Acts 9:36 – 43).

After the centurion Cornelius had a vision in Caesarea, Elohim told him to send men to Joppa for Simon Peter (Acts 10:1 – 11:21).
